Presentation
Shared Crossings with our Beloved Children: Awe-inspiring Connections and Continuing Bonds Across the Veil.
William will explain the inspiring kinds of shared crossings that parents may experience around the death of their child. These include the shared death experience, perhaps the most transcendental of these phenomena, that occurs when a loved one or caregiver witnesses the dying person’s transition to a glorious afterlife. Pre and post death visitations and synchronicities will also be explored. William will provide video case studies from his groundbreaking research that demonstrate the meaning of shared crossings for parents whose children have transitioned. He will discuss how shared crossings and the Continuing Bonds grief model support and validate parents’ relationships with their departed children.
