This Month’s Affiliate Leader Focus: Jenny McCall and Jess Baca of HPH–Phoenix East Valley!

In a remarkably short time, Jenny and Jess have done a wonderful job of growing their group and welcoming Shining Light Parents from all across the Valley. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and compassion have helped create a warm and supportive community where parents can connect, share, and heal together.

We are so grateful to have them both as part of our Helping Parents Heal team! Thank you, Jenny and Jess, for all that you do!

My son Jordan transistioned in 2022 at just 18 years old. Jordan loved nature, creating things, and always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Whether he was 3D printing, making wood crafts, or finding something new to sell, he was always working on his next idea. He attended Autism Academy and loved hiding rubber ducks for others to find.

Almost immediately after his transition, Jordan began showing us signs of his continued presence, often through nature. I could feel him around me.  I felt guided toward Helping Parents Heal, which I found on Facebook within weeks.

I was immediately drawn to Lisa Wilcoxson, who brought Jordan through with incredible accuracy. Over several readings, she shared details that gave me comfort and strengthened my knowing that Jordan was still very much with me, just in a different way.

We also started Jordan’s Duck Army, spreading kindness and love through little rubber ducks placed for others to find. What began as a way to honor Jordan has grown into something incredibly meaningful, allowing his love and legacy to continue touching lives.

Helping Parents Heal continued to reinforce my spiritual belief that our souls are eternal and that our relationships with our children continue beyond this physical world. I followed the journeys of other parents closely, learning about different tools and modalities that helped me begin strengthening my own connection with Jordan.

At my first Helping Parents Heal conference, Lisa introduced me to Jenny my east valley co affiliate leader Together, weve have had the privilege of building a community where parents can find comfort, support, and hope as they navigate their own journeys.

I truly believe our boys, Jordan and Andy, are right there with us, cheering us on and guiding other parents to this community. Through Helping Parents Heal, we have the opportunity to support one another, strengthen our connections with our children on the other side, and remind each other that love never ends.

My son Andy went to heaven on his motorcycle on March 7, 2023. Little did I know how many people at the scene of the accident would become part of my life.

Margaret Anderson, a Helping Parents Heal mom who had also lost her son on a motorcycle, was at the scene that day. She was on her way to Lisa Wilkoxon's house, right there at Shea and 64th. Lisa was in the middle of a reading when Andy came through to her. He told her she needed to find his parents. She stopped the reading, walked outside and saw the accident. Shortly after, Margaret arrived and told her what was going on.

Lisa found me on Facebook and told me to contact her when I was ready. When I did, she told me all about her experience and about Helping Parents Heal. I immediately joined and found comfort on the page. I found books and podcasts that helped me find peace in knowing my son is still here with me.

Over the last three years I have read more than 35 books on the afterlife, and I am certain Andy is still alive, just on the other side of this realm. I feel him, and I see all the signs he sends me.

I met my affiliate partner, Jess, at the first Helping Parents Heal conference I attended in 2023. We started helping with Helping Parents Heal East Valley in 2025 and have formed some incredible relationships in the group. Knowing I have this beautiful community to lean on, people who understand everything I have gone through and still go through to this day, is priceless. I am forever grateful for this community and all it does to help us heal.
