What a gift it is to be loved by you!!
Sometimes the veil is thin, and other times, Lexi just kicks the door wide open. Our spitfire came through with Connie Fusella not just with a whisper, but with a vibrant, drum-beating, marching-band-level celebration of life.
She wanted us to know she is the CEO of the "Signs and Wonders" department, and she brought the receipts:
• The Gentle Truth: Most importantly, Lexi leaned in with a message of pure peace. She made it clear that what happened was an accident. She wants us to breathe deeply and release any weight we’ve been carrying, reminding us firmly that it was no one’s fault. She is free, and she wants us to be free, too.
• The Protectors: She named the men she’s watching over—Michael and Daniel—acknowledging the heavy health battles and the struggles of the heart. She sees the new life that arrived on the day of her showing, a beautiful reminder that she’s weaving the family’s past and future together.
• The Soulmates: She gave a special nod to Bryanna. Though they never met in the physical world, Lexi confirmed that soulmates don't need a map to find each other. She is so proud of that book and the dedication that honors two daughters gone too soon.
• The Inner Circle: She brought up the "James" connection—honoring her dad’s middle name and his best friend Jason, who has been the bedrock of support. And she didn't forget Grandpa John, sending him extra strength.
• The October Magic: From the hotel clerk’s random question if I was an October baby hours prior to the long list of family birthdays, she made sure we knew that October belongs to her, too.
• The Nature Show: She confirmed the little yellow bird at the feeder we were just talking about, and she let us know that whenever those wind chimes ring, it’s her giving them a playful tug.
• The Performer: She reminded us of her rhythm—the drums, the guitar, the competition dance, and her time shining with the drill team in the marching band.
• The Double Rainbow: She promised it during the reading, and then she delivered it two days later—a literal bridge between her world and ours.
• The "Precious" Finale: In true Lexi fashion, she ended with a laugh. Bringing up Lord of the Rings—the movie that popped up right before the meeting—and that hilarious nickname, Sméagol. It’s her way of saying, "I’m still funny, I’m still me, and I’m still here."
Lexi is strong, Lexi is beautiful, and Lexi is never, ever far away. She knows exactly when we need her most, and she’s always ready to ring a chime or send a rainbow to prove it.
She is always our forever precious Lexis! Check out the double rainbow that was only a few days after this beautiful moment with Connie!!
