I saw the email for this Gallery Reading with Pauline Mason and was interested but got busy and didn’t join.
I just watched it back and I do not want to take the reading away from the lady who claimed it.
But it REALLY sounded like my son Edward. I thought you might like to forward this to Pauline.
He took his own life and had depression that he was working very hard on.
An animal aware of his presence – we have a new cat that constantly stops and looks past us, like someone else is there, and does zoomies like someone is playing with him. He used to play with our cats with a light laser, and it is like he is playing with this new cat with a light laser, except we are just watching her!
“strum a guitar” – he played bass and guitar from the age of about 10, and he played bass in a band (the Redundants). Music was incredibly important to him, he wrote songs and composed music for movie scores in high school.
He wants and needs forgiveness from his family.
Incredible teeth and a beautiful smile – absolutely gorgeous boy. His grandfather even drew a picture of him – head and shoulders – that is on the wall.
“videos of him as a little one” - We have some camcorder videos of him when he was little that we love to watch. He was adorable!
Lacked self-confidence and this would have surprised everyone – we NEVER thought he lacked confidence. He was gentle and funny and goofy, but we never thought he lacked confidence. We found out from his psychologist that he lacked confidence.
Highly sensitive – gets hurt very quickly – he was always sensitive, in fact, this is what our minister said at the funeral who had known him since he was a toddler – he said “Edward was an empathic, sensitive boy”.
Sparkle in his eye – oh – yes. He could be so cheeky and had such sparkly eyes when he was up to mischief.
The number 16 – he was born on the 16th January.
Something to do with his hair – he was incredible particular about his hair, it used to make me laugh, and in the end he had longer hair – my husband called it his “Steve” hair from Stranger Things.
The letter M – his sister is Maddison. They were incredible close.
“Yelling out Rory” – this was the only thing I didn’t understand.
“Lady's hands on piano keys, playing piano” – I am a singing teacher and I play piano every day. We recently moved back to Australia and I didn’t have a piano. Miraculously I have been given a grand piano which I play every day.
“Live your Life” – he used to say this to me when I went for work overseas and was worried about leaving him. This really felt like him.
I’ve attached one picture of him with his sparkly happy eyes, when he got his fist electric guitar, him and his sister, and one of his band shots.
Please pass on my huge thanks. I am so thankful. I miss him dreadfully and I talk to him all the time.
Thank you for what you all do.
Best,
~Dale Cox
