Lincoln Gabriel Cohen
Lincoln was/is the strongest human I've ever known. The picture above was taken during a chemotherapy session and as you can see, he never stopped smiling. I truly believe that he knew how hard it was for his mom and I to see him going through his illness and remained happy and positive for us.
When Shelly Wilson brought up the fact that was blaming myself for his condition, it truly hit home. I have what's called a PTCH-1 gene that causes tumors in my offspring. This wasn't discovered until post diagnosis, but I've been struggling with feeling responsible for his suffering. Hearing that validation from Shelly (and Lincoln) that it wasn't my fault was beyond gratifying.
