My Healing Journey with Adam is like so many parents on this healing path. I began my search to find him early on.

The greatest healing for me was finding my connection and bond of love with Adam in spirit.

The night of Adam’s passing I was resting in my loft praying this was all just a nightmare that I would wake up from. I drifted off only to be awakened by someone hitting and clanging my wind chimes hanging at the door. It wouldn’t stop and got louder and louder as they rang out.  I was annoyed and sat up pushing my eyemask off. There was nobody there. I looked around the room completely confused. I turned my head and looked at the end of my bed. I saw Adam sitting on my feet with his knees up, rocking and holding his ears as though he was listening to music. In a flash he vanished. 

I was confused, shattered and wondering if I lost my mind. This vision just confirmed my worst nightmare that he had passed. But I was now seeing him in spirit. It shook me to the core but I knew without a doubt what I saw. Adam somehow still lived on. Soon after I started feeling Adam”s physical energy like a frantic pulsation all over my body. It would flit and jump all over. My heart pounded so wildly I thought I’d have a heart attack. Adam had so much energy when he was alive and now I was feeling it. The search for him was about to begin.

I tried to tell my husband and family about all this, but they thought I had lost my mind. My daughter was the only one who not only believed me but was also experiencing Adam around her too. We both knew Adam was definitely with us. Thank goodness for Stephanie. 

As it happened, around 3 months after Adam’s passing I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in years. She had a random encounter with a young medium. He had a message from a young 17 yr old boy for her to give to his mother who is your friend. He passed in a car accident, and it was his time and that he was meant to pass in a car accident. He gave all kinds of evidence that nobody could have known. Strangely this gave me so much comfort and peace. Of course I made an appointment to see this medium right away. He brought Adam through beautifully with loving accurate messages and changed my life. My healing began. I could live with Adam now in spirit. He changed but it was still the same Adam just not physical. I could accept this. This medium validated so much of my connection with Adam and it all now became very REAL. We often need validation as humans. 

My healing began to transform as I talked about and to Adam endlessly to people who would listen. Talking helped so much. 

I attended a parents’ group, and it helped to meet other parents but back in 2006 it seemed taboo to talk about afterlife, mediums and spiritual experiences. I remember talking with another mom about mediums and we had to huddle and whisper in a corner about our readings and signs from our son’s. This made me feel disconnected and shut down in the group.

Needless to say, when I found HPH and the warm and loving welcome from Elizabeth I knew I was going to love being part of this group. Other parents sharing their wonderful connections with their beautiful children knowing they are still with them, getting amazing signs, readings this was exactly the group I belonged in. I soon after asked Elizabeth if I could start an affiliate group in Ottawa; Canada. I think it was the first affiliate group outside the U.S.  We have a great group of parents and Andrea Courey is my co-leader. She opens with beautiful sound healing and meditations. We are meeting in person Saturday, June 28th/25 1 to 3. All welcome we would love to meet you. 

I believe that HPH is such a powerful healing group for parents and when I was asked to become an HPH Affiliate Director I was so honored and excited. My Co-Affiliate Directors Kathy MacMannis and Rosanne Norris are the best and the 3 of us make a great team. The best part is getting to meet so many amazing parents who are becoming new Affiliate Leaders and knowing they will be there to help so many other parents.
