This group gave me hope and evidence that what I glimpsed when my daughter passed, was true—she lives beyond her body and our relationship can still grow and expand - it grows stronger every day. As a parent you think you're at your max in this life, that you couldn't possibly get through more than the grief, the battle for life that has been fought. Getting through each hour and each day is insurmountable, then love demands and life expands and you grow with it, in ways you never thought possible or knew existed. It's like looking through a dragonfly eye toy as a child and seeing thousands of angles—so many ways to see that I didn't even know existed.
Helping Parents Heal has pushed me to grow and helped me to find pathways to connection that are an invaluable gift. I am forever grateful and send you so much love and light!
~Thank you, Gibby
This is my validation for Lisa Wilcoxson's reading on 1/27/26.
I haven't had Campbell come through in a group reading before, which makes sense, she's used to helping other kids and I see her in that role often.  Lisa first mentioned a young woman reunited with her cat and Campbell's cat is here with us so I waited to speak up. Lisa also mentioned Lynn which didn't connect at first but then she said Linnie. When I listened again, I realized it was probably Lindsey which is my first name (I go by Gibby) and Lindsey is much easier to communitcate then Gibby!  Lisa said she thought the passing was from Cancer and then mentioned an Ankh and I realized it was Campbell or Campbell was piggybacking with another child which is awesome!
My daughter Campbell passed from cancer at 19.  She adopted a 3 legged orange tabby cat when she was going through treatment. It made sense to adopt a cat with a disability because she could relate. She had CIC-DUX4 sarcoma in her calf and required a rod in her tibia, the bone broke due to radiation.  Lisa saw the broken bone and that Campbell was fascinated with her X-rays and scans. Campbell printed them out and posted them on social media, she was so interested in talking to her surgeon after every surgery. She loved anatomy and was took an online class in it.
Campbell's cat is an orange tabby which Lisa picked up on, and an absolute LION as Lisa mentioned in her reading. He is so funny and we absolutely treat him like a king because Campbell left him to us to keep us on our toes. She named him Anubis after the Egyptian God of crossing over (she loved the character Anubis in the Rick Riordan series the red pyramid - it's the Egyptian version of Percy Jackson) and I have a tattoo of him with an Ankh on my Arm. When Lisa brought up the Ankh, I had to speak up. Anubis gets really crazy at times and we think that he senses Campbell and is running around to play with her. He never cuddled except with her and when he is especially cuddly we feel she is close too. So when Lisa said they were reunited I was thinking it was in the present; I think she visits him often.
Lisa also mentioned handwriting and Campbell's is super neat and she journaled every day. She loved being in the kitchen, as Lisa said and Campbell loved to bake cakes for people, she would go wild on the icing, she was hugely outgoing and generous with her love for others. Campbell was a big advocate for childhood cancer research, and supporting kids with cancer. Campbell was a Co-Host with Katie Feeeny for CureFest in Washington DC during Covid, an ambassodor for St. Baldricks and started a childhood cancer foundation called the SkiFast Foundation that we carry on in her name.  Lisa mentioned working on something that she left us and we just gave our 93rd children’s scholarship out before Christmas. Campbell does not like us to wallow, she keeps us moving!
Lisa mentioned I knew you couldn't be gone (I saw her soul leave her body, which Lisa spoke about with her Aunt) Campbell lifted her head and looked ahead when she passed, I saw a light and I have always feel that she saw where she was going and went. Lisa mentioned a special blanket. We made a blanket of all her t-shirts and it has an embroidered quote from Hamilton on the back, "Who lives who dies who tells your story?" Also Lisa said she heard mom you're paying attention to all the little things which for me are the signs that she sends me.  I have been meditating to connect with her everyday and I do feel a tickling or wind sensation that I feel is her which Lisa mentioned as well.  On the day of Lisa’s reading Campbell sent me multiple signs about birds before I left for work (feathers is a common sign) and then I saw two bald Eagles on my commute! Lisa saw 5 birthday candles which I think is for Campbell's interstellar birthday (the day she crossed) which is coming up. Lisa saw a baby and a helmet which matches her sister just having a baby and she just got fitted for a helmet, because her head is a little flat and we have been sharing photos of the helmet fitting which was very cute! Lisa also saw a bow on the helmet and my new graddaughter is a girl! The package could have been a little jacket I received in the mail this week for the puppy we are getting for Campbell's interstellar birthday.
Campbell's brother just had surgery and Lisa mentioned that she visited him under anesthesia and she will be coaching him along while he is recuperating. Campbell was a ski racer and when she was too sick to race she coached, she is very proud of it! Lisa said she heard "scars always tell the best stories" and  Campbell loved the saying "scars are like tattoos with better stories!" Lisa said Campbell gave her the image of floating astrally and I think of her as interstellar all the time. I think the popcorn and the astral vision is Campbell's nod to us, her favorite movies are *Interstellar* and *The Martian", and I call her signs an Interstellar Moo because Campbell loves cows :)There are so many things I want to ask Campbell and Lisa brought though so many wonderful answers today.  Good job Campbell!! You are rocking it!
Thank you so much Lisa!! Love you!! So sorry for rambling and being a little scattered during your reading!
