Gallery Reading Validations with Lisa Wilcoxson from Joe Colucci (6/30/2026)
I can only say how amazed I am at the timing, details and relevance in the brief gallery reading with Lisa Wilcoxson on 6/30/2026. Lisa had about 10 validations for me within four minutes. That's astounding.
Lisa quickly shared that my son, Andy, who passed 8 years ago, was showing her a lot of military dog tags which was a validation of Andy knowing the work I am currently doing with a Navy Seal foundation. Lisa validated “they are all together” which is referencing my son being with my friend’s son, who passed as a Navy Seal. Our families and kids were at Coronado beach over the years and now our sons are together in spirit.
She then confirmed my mother, who passed last year, came through with the clue “Saint Joseph” because everybody calls me Joe but my mother would only always call me ‘Joseph’. “Your little Momma is so cute but boy she is feisty.” Which is the most accurate description anyone could have if they met my 5-foot-tall Italian mother. Lisa validated both my mother in spirit and that my mother is so happy to be with my son who spent summers with her as a teen and young adult.
When Lisa said, “Where is the new car?” and “Keep it clean!”, she validated a conversation I just had with my older son, Andy’s brother, that week. He has been driving Andy’s 2007 truck for 5 years and it’s approaching time to get a new car. Neither of us wants to let Andy’s old truck go. My older son surfs a lot, and so Andy’s truck is always filthy with sea air and sand. This was a validation that Andy was there for this conversation and he is also joking that he can’t keep his truck clean.
Lisa shared that I was “working on something that involves paper and trying to print something” as well as the fact that “Andy is laughing at you because I get the sense that you don’t know what you are doing as far as the computer.” This is so accurate and the whole week and morning before the gallery reading I was getting frustrated trying to organize some documents and communication.
Andy is there for every detail including Lisa knowing that I hurt my finger. That very morning I had been talking to my physical therapist about the injury. He also showed Lisa that I was doing something with coloring books. Which is funny because I just received multiple messages within the past two days from members of Helping Fathers Heal about a project for coloring books.
The part that made Lisa (and me) have a full heart was when she shared at the end that Andy was ‘taking the mic’ to share “My Dad makes other peoples' wishes come true. That’s what my Dad always did. I love you so much Dad.” And that my Mom was ending with blowing kisses. She would always blow kisses to family and close friends when saying 'goodbye'.
All of these validations from Lisa gave me clear messages on topics that have been on my mind and will continue to guide me. Everything Lisa brought up, or Andy told her, was real time and important for me moving forward. So, Thank YOU Andy and Lisa and Mom!
