Luke initially came through to Kamberlee Carlton on January 15th describing himself as tall, with dark hair, handsome, confident, and funny, and he provided the number 27. All of this aligns with Luke, as his birthday is this Saturday, January 17th, when he would be turning 27 years old. He described a tightness in his chest and a sudden passing; this is accurate, as Luke had a heart attack with no prior warnings. He reassured us that he felt no pain and was immediately in a beautiful place, emphasizing that there was nothing we could have done to prevent his passing.
He apologized for leaving so soon but affirmed that he departed in his divine timing, something he has also explained to me in visitation dreams. Luke mentioned that his brother is currently stressed or frustrated, looking at lots of numbers. This likely indicates that Luke is accompanying his little brother to his new job, which he just started this week and involves working with many numbers.
Luke also playfully urged me not to feel guilty for enjoying my ice cream on the couch. Ironically, I had just indulged in ice cream a few days ago while listening to Suzanne Giesemann's audiobook, "Still Right Here." He noted that I’m considering getting a tattoo for him, although I haven't decided what I want yet. He assured me that whatever I choose will be cool because I’m a cool mom, which made me laugh, especially since his friends have mentioned that Luke often called me a cool mom!
Additionally, Luke expressed that he knows we have his phone and that we listen to his music. He’s still jamming out and plays it loud. I confirmed to Kamberlee that I keep Luke’s phone charged at all times, and we enjoy his Spotify playlists. Luke humorously admitted that he has good taste in music, acknowledging that it has grown on me, which is true.
He also mentioned a cousin who is with him; they were close and more like brothers. They enjoy teasing each other, but rest assured, they’re together and staying out of trouble. I suspect he was referring to his cousin Cameron, who transitioned three months after Luke, so it’s comforting to know they are together.
Luke also indicated that his cousin’s mom may not be open to hearing about the reading, which is correct. However, I have shared the message with my brother. He sent a big hug to his dad, which my husband was able to see once the video was posted on YouTube since he hadn’t been on the Zoom call with me.
Thank you so much, Kamberlee! It was heartwarming to hear from Luke. I had just asked him to come through moments before you connected with him because I wanted to know if he met our dog Bowie, whom we helped cross over this morning. Luke didn’t mention Bowie, but I take his coming through as validation that they’re together and that Luke is giving Bowie plenty of snacks and belly rubs.
Lastly, I had one more validation immediately after the reading. I was driving in my car, listening to music, when two of Luke's songs played one after the other on my playlist. I turned the volume up loud, laughing and crying because I knew he was riding home in the car with me.
Thank you, my beautiful Lukie baby! We love you! Happy birthday, and be sure to tell Bowie he’s such a good boy!
