Lisa Feinstein's Validation with her daughter, Kate, through Candice Purchase

Thank you for conducting spirit and for all that you do. I was elated my daughter Kate came through for Candice Purchase.  Candice said that a girl was coming through who went to a lot of fairs and also had a grandma who made pies.

We went to many amusement parks when the kids were little, Santa's Enchanted Forest and the Dade County Youth Fair. My mother made the best pies, and Kate loved them. My parents had a lake house in the Catskills and the neighbor took the kids tubing a couple times like Candice mentioned.

Kate also wore big shirts often like Candice said and would take t-shirts from my husband. Kate and her Dad had a special bond like Candice said, and he and I equally shared taking care of her in the hospital and in hospice. Kate was very strong physically and mentally, but cancer took so much from her.

She was selfless and empathetic and wanted to make people feel loved like Candice said. She was a voracious reader and also wrote well. She did not like to be the center of attention, but she did like to dress up in outfits and costumes and apply make up like Candice said.

And we keep her name a part of our family conversation like Candice said, she is always on my mind.
