On December 1st, Lisa Wilcoxson did Gallery Readings for HPH parents. Some validations from the reading from my daughter, Jillian:
Validations regarding my daughter Jillian:
Um, And… oh my gosh, she's talking to me about… I'm seeing someone around a food bank, almost like I feel as if…Whoever's daughter this is, they know that you helped support a food bank in some way, almost like buying a turkey and sticking it in the… You know, in front of the store, um, giving groceries to a food bank around Thanksgiving, and she knows you did this in her honor. (For Jillian’s funeral we requested a food drive for the community pantry, and we delivered a couple truckloads full of food…her funeral was 2 days after Thanksgiving.)
And she's talking to me about… I feel like around… she was around 16, 17, 15 to 17 when she crossed. Not much older, let's see… oh gosh, we have Louise, who's also taking this. We do a… Okay, we have lots, so let me… let me… let me figure out which of these beautiful young girls… I know you bought her Uggs. 46:12 She's showing me putting her feet in UGGs. That's very important, okay? I know there would have been one Christmas, and it was like, that's all… that's all I want are Uggs! The day before she died, we were literally shopping for Uggs. She said “That’s all I want for Christmas, mom!” And… okay, let's see, what else? What else? What else, what else? I feel like you may still have her Uggs. (I gave them to her best friend, who survived the accident.)
Um… And…I feel there's a bracelet with her birthstone. Okay, she's showing me a bracelet. Um, and I'm… I feel like I'm… I'm… I need to talk about Tiffany. There's someone Tiffany, around her as well. Okay, I know this young woman is telling me you are having a party. You are having a party. She says you're going to be having a party. So, if you're thinking about having your party, your daughter is saying, Have the party. Have the party, okay? Um, and you know, it's interesting, because I kind of almost feel like this is a gathering of like-minded parents. Um, Okay, were there other parents? Did you have other parents there? I just feel like this is almost like a gathering of…of us. We just had a party for her November 19th at the cemetery with many other “like minded” (Shining Light) parents.
Um… Okay, let me go ahead and work with Louise and all the rest of you, please listen.Oh, she's so cute! She's like, hi, Mom! Hi, Mom. Um, she's talking to me about, I feel as if… Mm-hmm… She needs you to know her hair's gotten really long, okay? (You did not want to be sitting in front of her in school if your hair was longer than hers. Oh, my… It might not be by the end of class. Her dream was to have the longest hair in school.) Now, did she color her hair, put strengths of, like, pink? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yes, she's showing… she's showing me painting her hair, and she's… she loved being the star of the show.
How I feel like she loves to pull practical jokes on you. Just all the time, all the time. You get a lot of reports. You have things literally physically move around, don't you? The ring we chose for her to wear on her necklace in the casket came up missing and turned up at the funeral home… before we had been there yet! And she had planned to come home THAT morning and dye her hair.
You know, she's handing me… rocks for you. The ones… I have them at my home in Sedona. They say inspire, joy, comfort, things like that. She's handing all these to you, okay? It's almost like she's giving you the crystals of wisdom, and I know you spread them out amongst people. I had been sewing Christmas presents while listening to this Zoom meeting. The therapy pack I had JUST finished was a material with pictures of rocks on it that say Faith, Love, Peache, Inspiration, Joy, Happiness, on them! Okay, that's what she's showing me. And she's talking to me about how proud she is of you.
With everything that you do, where was the mud? There was just a whole bunch of mud somewhere. Yeah. Okay, she's showing me, like, muddy footprints, okay, but I almost feel like they're dog prints. And maybe even jumping on the bed, getting the mud on the bed. (Jillian’s older sister is professional dog trainer. Her logo has a muddy footprint.)
Yeah. And… oh gosh, I know she's showing me peppermint. I feel like I'm at Starbucks, I feel like I'm getting whatever, you know, whatever the drink is of the season. I'm… I know I'm seeing peppermint, the flavored peppermint. (I was making these therapy packs while Lisa was reading Jillian, I had a bottle of peppermint essential oil in my hand that I had just set down and was drinking a cup of hot chocolate right at that moment!)
And she's talking to me about… Um, now… She's telling me… almost like… I don't know if you know exactly how she crossed. But she's giving me a feeling, like, There was some curiosity, does that make sense? She's… she's pretty much telling me Mm-hmm. Mom, you're never going to know the cause. Like, I'm not telling you. Okay. This is what… this is what she's saying. I'm not telling you, because you don't need to know, because we've already connected, we've already found each other, okay? That golden thread on these packages, it runs directly from you to her, okay? And that's so important for you to know. She said she would much rather you be finding other things, like all the magic that she puts everywhere. I know what injury took her life, but the events leading up to it have had new revelations recently, for instance, it was probably witnessed. She KNOWS I am curious.
52:12 Um, I know she's talking to me about the trains. I feel like Christmas trains? Did you guys, like… do you understand the Christmas… did you have a Christmas train, or the village? Mm-hmm. You know the little village you set out on the cotton with the lights? I just bought her sister and brother-in-law that she never met, um. Pajamas with Christmas trains on them. 52:35 Okay, good, because she's showing me the Christmas train, and she's showing me… oh, wow, that's… that's got a big story behind it, but she's also showing me the village and turning the lights on. (Jillian leaves quarters and there was one in the Christmas Village this year when it was unpacked.)
And, um… You know, this is funny, because, um, during COVID, my dad loved to play poker in his older years, and when they shut down all the casinos, he was like, well, there's not really any reason for me to still be here. And your daughter's giving me the feeling, like, you know they closed all the malls. Okay, yeah. Yep. They closed all the malls. With all the malls closed, you know, it's like, it's my time to… I'm out of here. What's the point? Yep.Yep, because she loved… she just… and it wasn't the shopping, it was the social. (Jilly was all about being social!) It was the social aspect of it, I feel like.
Um… I know she's showing me the two of you on the phone all the time, on the phone and texting. So, no, she's going to continue to use that as a way of communication for you.. Our last day was spent shopping. And our last text was “I love you”, about three and a half hours before she died. Aw, I love that so much. She's showing me a Lucky Horseshoe for you. And you're shopping for UGGs. And my husband volunteers at the food pantry.
She was… she was a closet smoker, and she was always telling me that she was on her last cigarette. When she really wants to get my attention, I'll be at church or something, and it smells just like somebody is puffing a cigarette right next to me, and I know it's her. 55:28 Oh, that's why I was feeling like I was smelling smoke. Interesting. She's blowing it in my face. Here I am, Mom. No. That's interesting, interesting, because it wasn't cigarette smoke, because that's what I get. You know what, I'll bet, I'll bet, because when I smell cigarette smoke, I automatically go to my mom's, so that's exactly what it was, and you knew. 55:48 Well, I would try and catch her on it, and she'd say, oh, that's… that's somebody fire… a fire outside, that's what you're smelling. Mom.
