During the gallery reading with HPH Ann Arbor and HPH Madison Heights, Jennifer Brazier described our children as being together in a waiting room, all ready to pop in with messages. It certainly felt that way!
She brought through my daughter Kathryn beautifully a few times.  Jennifer said she had two girls coming in together-that they were very much alike and were almost twins but did not even know each other in this life.
She asked if either of the girls had a cat and Kathryn did. We also had two cats that Kathryn loved cross the rainbow bridge in the past few months so perhaps she was also telling us they were with her.
Jennifer also wondered if the cat reference was to a name “such as Kathryn or Kat” and of course that is Kathryn’s name as well.
Jennifer said that after a period of downtime Kathryn felt she had done what she needed to do and was ready to make something of herself. Indeed, after a few years of struggle, at the time of Kathryn’s passing she was plotting out her future in detail, including moving to Portland, Oregon and going back to school.
Jennifer talked about her death being an accident-that she was given too much medication either by her own hand or a doctor’s and that we brought a lawsuit related to her death. The medications prescribed by Kathryn’s doctor caused a fatal arrhythmia and cardiac arrest and we did indeed bring a lawsuit.
Kathryn also was nudging me to follow through with writing a book or somehow telling her story.  Jennifer said it might not be written by me but it could be  in a different form.  She told Jennifer, “Mom, keep going. There is more to do”. There is something I have been thinking about doing to spread the word about HPH so this was a very encouraging message to move forward and that I will not be doing it alone. Kathryn will be there helping me.
With love,
