Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Rosanne Groover Norris, Patti May, and Irene Vouvalides in welcoming our newest Affiliate Leader, Jean Tozzi Christiaansen, who will be stepping in for Heather Hansen in Metro Milwaukee!
My husband Jon and I are proud parents of Brent and Bryce. Our world changed forever when Brent transitioned on August 1, 2021, his 27th birthday, from an accidental fentanyl overdose.
Almost immediately, Brent began sending me so many signs that I started keeping a list. Along the way, wonderful people entered my life, introducing me to new perspectives on the afterlife and helping me heal.
During that first difficult year, I discovered Helping Parents Heal. Through its speakers, events, and loving community, I gradually moved from isolation, guilt, and sadness toward hope, strength, and healing.
Attending the 2026 HPH Conference with Jon was life-changing. We felt our children in spirit surrounding us with love. Being among fellow Shining Light Parents inspired me to become an Affiliate Leader in Milwaukee. I feel Brent’s presence every day and am forever grateful and honored to be his mom.
