Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Rosanne Groover Norris, Patti May, and Irene Vouvalides in welcoming our newest Co-Affiliate Leader, Kaz Brown who will be joining Michelle Johnston in Sydney, Australia! We are excited to welcome her to our team.
Kaz Brown
Hi, I’m Kaz, a mum of three incredible children who are the lights of my life. My youngest, my beautiful son Mitchell, so full of joy and with the most beautiful heart, transitioned towards the end of 2021. His passing left me completely lost, until he gently guided me to Helping Parents Heal. I truly cannot express how much this organisation has helped me navigate my grief and begin to find light again.
Mitchell has since become my guiding light, leading me on a profound journey of spiritual growth and discovery. Over the past few years I have immersed myself in afterlife studies, Reiki, Sound Healing, and deepening my spiritual understanding.
By profession I was a high school art teacher, but I have since stepped away from teaching and now create gemstone jewellery as part of my own healing journey. Through my experiences, I hope to hold space, offer compassion, and walk alongside other parents on this path.
Michelle Johnston
I’m the very proud mother of Luke, Ben and Grace who were born in 1994, 1995 and 1996 respectively. Luke is still here on earth with me and Ben and Grace have gone ahead of us to spirit. Ben transitioned at just 5 hours old in 1995 and Grace was involved in a car accident in April 2016 and joined Ben a month later, aged 19. After experiencing Shared Death Experiences (SDEs) with each of them, I was driven to find a way to connect as I knew deep in my soul that this was not the end of our journey together. I’ve read many books, seen lots of mediums, and joined (then left) a lot of groups. I was blessed to find HPH and led the Philadelphia affiliate for several years while I lived there. I’m now home in Sydney and look forward to connecting with local HPH parents. Michelle is also a Caring Listener.
