Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Patti May, Rosanne Groover Norris, & Irene Vouvalides in welcoming the newest member of our Affiliate Leader team: Mary Jo Quinn-King, who will join Jo Greaney of HPH - Aus/NZ Moving Forward After Suicide! Kia Ora/Hello fellow parents from New Zealand. Our precious son Dylan died by suicide December 1st 2019 - the youngest of our 3 children - and so we try to find our way… to learn and feel new ways of connection with Dylan and soothe our broken hearts. I am grateful to be a part of the HPH Tribe and sad to be here with you as we discover different ways to move with the flow of emotions; to wear our pain without resistance or friction, to live this new way of life. The goal is to remember Dylan with more love than pain and honouring my heart by embracing all the ways she can do that.

My beautiful daughter, Grace, took herself home by suicide in October 2022, and my life changed forever. Through my own healing journey, I’ve been guided by the profound awareness I first experienced during a near-death experience at the age of five. That moment gave me an unshakable knowing that life continues beyond this world, and it has since become a source of strength and comfort.
I feel deeply called to support other parents who are walking this path. My hope is to help them find peace in knowing that their children are always with them—loving, guiding, and reminding us that the bond we share is eternal.
