Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Patti May, Rosanne Norris, and Irene Vouvalides in welcoming Denise Larsen, who joins Lori & Ray Roman in Orange County!
Denise Larsen
I am the proud mom of a beautiful adult daughter, Kelly, and a shining light parent to my beloved son, Tyler (forever 33), who transitioned in a car accident in 2013. Having my only son pass was devastating, but it also awakened me spiritually and set me on a profound healing journey. It deepened my belief that our loved ones in spirit are always with us. Thirteen years later, Tyler continues to bless me with signs, reminding me he walks beside me and lights my path with his eternal love.
Wanting to turn my pain into purpose, I trained with David Kessler as a certified Grief Educator and Coach. I’ve also studied EMDR, somatic practices, and trauma-informed care. This learning strengthened me and ignited my passion to help others heal.
For the past five years, I’ve facilitated support groups, including one for parents. As an affiliate co-leader with HPH in Orange County, I look forward to supporting and connecting with other courageous parents.

Hello fellow shining light parent. My name is Lori. My husband is Ray. We have been married since 1988. Together we are the proud parents of 4 wonderful children. Michael is our oldest, Ava is our youngest. Our middle children are twins, William and Mia. On 12-26-21, tragedy struck our family. William transitioned that night due to an undiagnosed heart condition, myocarditis. I never thought I would smile or feel joy again. HPH has truly saved me and my family. William had a beautiful social
nature and his ability to connect people lent him to be given the nickname “Ambassador Will”. Once you had Will’s love, he would show up for you no matter what. I know he is still helping connect people to others from the other side. In fact, I know for certain that he connected and helped me find this wonderful organization, Helping Parent Heal. Now we hope to continue what he started by reaching out, joining, and connecting others on this healing journey. I know our kids will help us find each other.
We’re grateful to be here to learn about your beautiful children in Spirit and together we can and WILL Live Strong….
