I wanted to share a beautiful experience I had after listening to Rev. Sue Frederick's talk with Helping Parents Heal.

I participated in the meditation she guided about connecting with our children.

Hours later, completely out of the blue, a melody popped into my head. No words, no title, just the music. I kept going through the tune in my head, trying to figure out what song it was.

When I finally recognized it, I was absolutely floored.

“Mother and Child Reunion” by Paul Simon!

Music has always been one of the ways my children come through to me, so this felt especially meaningful. It was such a beautiful validation of my connection with them, and I thought you might appreciate hearing about it.
