I have recently had two different readings with Pauline Mason (September and October) and I wanted to share my validation stories.

September

One of the first things Pauline mentioned was chickens. My daughter (she's on the right side of the attached photo) and her husband kept chickens in their backyard. I looked through various photos to send along with this validation, but decided that one showing her with the chickens would be especially appropriate.

Pauline mentioned dancing and liking girly things. My daughter took dance lessons and later danced as part of her cheerleading activities. She loved fashion and jewelry, and she was much better at doing hair and makeup than I ever was.

Pauline brought up the big question of "Why? Why did this happen?" I was particularly struck by this because, only a few hours earlier, I had posted a Facebook comment saying that I still don't understand the "why" of all this. Pauline also mentioned feeling guilt about not being able to save her. This is something I am still dealing with as well.

Pauline accurately described my daughter struggling to breathe and needing oxygen, as well as her blood pressure dropping. Caitlin was battling cancer, but in the end, it was a respiratory flu that tipped her over the edge. She was intubated and on a ventilator for the last week of her physical life.

Pauline mentioned that I talk to Caitlin all the time. This is true, and I would recommend it to any parent who has a child in spirit. Even though I cannot see her, hear her, or feel her near me, I imagine that she is always close. I sometimes think it must be frustrating for her not to be able to communicate, and I want to reassure her that I know she is still alive and still here with us. I suppose it's the mother in me wanting to reassure her and not wanting her to feel ignored.

Pauline mentioned smelling smoke. Sitting around a fire pit on a cool evening was a favorite family pastime. We also loved going country-western dancing as a family, and Pauline mentioned this as well.

Pauline spoke about Caitlin wearing cowboy boots. She always wore boots when she went dancing (they're practically required attire here in Texas!), and she even wore boots on her wedding day. Four years after her physical passing, her boots are still lined up in a row in the closet of her home.

October

In the October reading, Caitlin came through right away, just as she had the month before. She again communicated about her breathing issues.

Pauline spoke about the children's drawings I have on display in my home. I do have some of my grandchildren's artwork displayed, including a sweet drawing by my granddaughter (Caitlin's little girl), framed and hanging on the wall just to my left. If Caitlin were standing by my left shoulder, this artwork would be directly in front of her.

Pauline talked a bit about a pink ribbon and seemed to associate it with a cancer ribbon. Caitlin did not have breast cancer (which is represented by the color pink), so I didn't really connect with the pink ribbon at the time. I'm glad I didn't write to you immediately after the reading, because a few days later, I learned that my daughter-in-law had been diagnosed with breast cancer. This was something I did not know at the time of the reading.

If I remember correctly, Pauline also mentioned a "Happy Birthday" toward the end of the reading. The reading took place just one day after my granddaughter's birthday.

Pauline talked about Caitlin continuing to send me signs. Just the day before, I had found a little cardinal feather in an unusual place and had given it to my granddaughter.

Pauline reassured me that my daughter is still with me and expressed how very much she loves me. It was something I truly needed to hear.

Thank you so much to you, Irene, Pauline, and everyone at Helping Parents Heal.

With love, hope, and healing in my heart,

~Gina M
