My name is Andrea and this is my sunshine, Tristan. Tristan crossed over in March 2021 at the age of 24 after developing a brain abscess and sepsis. I live in north-eastern France and I am Swiss-Canadian. I grew up in Africa, where I was introduced to spirituality as a child and it has remained a guiding part of my life since.
I know deep down that there is no true separation between Tristan and myself but losing him in this lifetime has been the most devastating experience I have ever been through. I honour both the spiritual and the human path I am on now.
I have spent years studying, questioned everything and searched for answers. I have come to learn that the more I learn, the less I know, the more I believe. Tristan and I continue to walk this journey together with enduring bond of love that transcends this physical world.

I am the mother of four children: Timothée, Adrien, Apolline, and my youngest, Louis, who left this physical world in 2023 at the age of 18 through suicide. His passing led me to discover Helping Parents Heal, which became my lifeline. In France, I couldn't find a community that embraced spirituality, signs, and the continuing bond with our children. Through HPH, I found hope, meaning, and eventually joy again. This journey inspired me to leave my teaching career and train in grief and trauma support. I believe Louis continues to guide me through signs, synchronicities, and meaningful connections. It is an honor to lead this French HPH chapter and offer French-speaking parents a place of support, connection, healing, and hope, where they can know they are not alone and that love continues beyond physical death.
