Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Rosanne Groover Norris, Patti May , and Irene Vouvalides in welcoming Merav Pickel, who will be our new HPH - NYC Affiliate Leader! She will start holding in-person meetings in October.
About Merav:
I am the mother of two amazing children. Noa who is 27, and Maya, who took herself home June 2nd 2024, at age 22.
I was a spiritual seeker even before Maya transitioned, but my journey accelerated after she did, led by my yearning to connect with her. HPH has been a vital source of inspiration and community for me, helping me move from devastating grief to a path of spiritual growth, which I do my best to walk with gratitude and humility.
No words can describe the pain of losing a child and I miss Maya’s physical presence every day, yet I am finding ever-new ways of connecting with her, which feed my soul and help me find peace and hope.
I look forward to meeting other NYC area parents who are walking this path, creating community and mutually supporting each other.
Meetings will be held in person in Midtown Manhattan, on the 1st Thursday of each month, starting 10/1/26, 6:30-8 PM.
